If you’ve been following me at all these past few weeks, you’ll know that Ms. Cailin O’Neil of Travel Yourself visited me in St. John’s during May 2-4 weekend.
She couldn’t come at a better time: the sun was out, the BBQ was fired up, we had a house-load of visitors and a few kegs of beer to accommodate.
Cailin’s a filmmaker, so she brought along her camera and really captured the personality of the city, or at least how I see the city. I absolutely love what she did with the whole thing, and yes, we do have this much fun all the time. After showing my roommate, she sighed all dreamy-like and said, “I can’t believe we live here.”
Plus there’s a wicked shot of my ass. Worth watching.
Can you even imagine what NYC is going to be like?!

Thanks, and yes, always windy! Hahaha. Although on the most eastern tip of N. America, it’s a little extreme.
I’ll see you soon!

I got really excited at the mention of fish tongues! And were you dipping them in Ranch Dressing? Perfect.
It really looks to be a wonderful place. I’d love to visit. Wonderful video Cailin! I love the music. Come visit me in New Zealand so we can make one here!

I would love to come to New Zealand and make a video with you! How much longer do you plan on being there for?

I have to admit, when trying to explain to someone how to pronounce “Newfoundland,” I usually say, “It’s New-Found-Land.” I guess that’s how it’s SUPPOSED to be, though. I don’t realize I’m stressing the “New.”

Great video. St. John’s looks like such a vibrant city and this just makes me want to visit Newfunlnd even more.

Wow, looks like fun! Newfoundland has always been on my “to-visit” list.
I worry about what NYC’s “screeching” equivalent may be…
