Candice and Her Santa Sidekick Wish You Merry Christmas

While writing the title of this blog post, I realized this is my second “Merry Christmas” greeting to the world.

Which means this blog is over a year old. Somehow, the universe missed this monumental anniversary event and DID NOT INFORM ME VIA PHONE ALERT. Good for nothin’ iPhone.

Anyway, Maggie and I visited Santa last week. He promised I would succeed in 2011, and although I’m pretty sure he just wanted to cop a feel, and despite him keeping his hand on my shoulder longer than necessary, I believed him with all my heart. I really did.

So thank you for your support over the last year. The token “Year in Review” post is coming, but damn, my readers rock. I salute you for having the patience to bear with me during one of the rockiest years of my life. Thank you for listening to me whine. Thank you to all the friends who bought me beers. Thank you for actually caring.

Merry Christmas, enjoy the holidays, share some eggnog with loved ones and keep your car keys at home.
