Hoorah for life!

I love travel, but I definitely think it’s great to have other interests, especially because it’s not always possible to travel all the time. You gotta have things to do when your at home, right?
Also that china set is fantastic. Puts my dollar store dishes to shame.

Aww mama, your first comment on my blog!! Thank ya!

When you have a travel blog that is so driven by your personality (and yours most DEFINITELY is), it is totally acceptable to also write about LIFE every now and then! Yay life!

Thank you kindly, Amanda! And I really like that, “driven by your personality.”

I didn’t know you knitted? I just started and have only done “practice” knitting because I’m afraid my scarf project will not turn out as planned at this time…

I do! Not very well, though. My friend Maggie is my mentor. I’ve managed a pretty pathetic scarf, and have been working on a baby blanket for the past year….almost there.

I am so all about this! I miss that’s tangly. My life is only like 10% travel, so I relate much more to the rest of you
(esp the knitting! ;D and foooooood)
and as far as I’m concerned, the more candice, the better. wooo! life!

Hehe, I’ve missed just blogging about the everyday and ordinary. Yay!

Did I know you had another blog?

I don’t think I did.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t.
(I’m pretty happy with that circle drawing. I did have a bit of help drawing it, though. Full disclosure.)

It was my original blog.
Actually, my “original” blog was “angry redhead.” I was a lot more crass back then, believe it or not.

I’m with you 100% Candice! My life definitely involves a lot of other things, which is why I have my little blog on my personal site. But I also get that it can be hard to keep up! BTW, you should email me your snail address so we can get some stamps flying!

Woot! Snail mail! Can’t wait.
Yeah, I feel too stretched thin with all these social media sites and blogs. Someone asked me the other day why I wasn’t on tumblr. I think I’d just die.
[Reply]
Here’s to life. And writing it well. Which you do. All 100%.

You are much too kind, thank you!

This is totally what I have been thinking lately too. Because even though I live abroad at the moment which means that a lot of things that I deal with in life are travel-related. Sometimes I just want to talk about me, and not relate it to a place.
I think that posts about life in general are awesome and interesting and help bring out your personality! Great addition to the blog!

I know, right?! And in many ways I feel like my “life” posts were more successful. Something to do with honesty.
And I’m so glad you think so
[Reply]
Candice, I’m so glad to hear this, actually. I really miss your personal life posts, as they were usually hilarious! And no, I didn’t know you like to knit, but it would be fun to learn more about it
